The Material & Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the storage and management of all materials and consumables used in production, toting parts together that will be used to build jobs and ensuring the accuracy of inventory counts.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift/handle up to fifty pounds
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (fork truck)
  • Ability to identify, coordinate, and monitor available on-hand material quantities and distinguish them from allocated materials utilizing the DMS
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily updating computerized on-hand material levels considering material receipts and issues.
  • Making manual adjustments as required
  • Continuous inventory review to identify potential shortages due to increased consumption, scrap, etc.
  • Physical Inventory as required
  • Weekly Cycle Count Program
  • Review of TPI Bill of Materials, shortage identification, staging of available required materials, Inventory Issue Hard Copy documentation, and relieving issued materials utilizing TPI computerized system
  • Regular organization of warehouse and inventory stores items
  • Certified Material Control/Segregation (ASME)
  • Record filing and upkeep
  • Packing slip generation for both inventory returns and outside processes when applicable
  • Cross-train in Shipping, Part Inspection, Receiving, and Purchasing to develop additional skills to be utilized as a potential back-up
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by supervisor

The Manufacturing Support individual provides essential support within each manufacturing cell, and will be trained to perform a variety of job responsibilities throughout the plant.

Qualifications:

  • A strong attention to detail

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift availability preferred
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred

The Metal Fabricator is responsible for all dimensions they create on any product. Fabricators verify that the dimensions created meet the print/cut list requirements before product moves to the next area.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with use of saws, grinders, metal shears, lathes, and mills
  • Demonstrated ability to read drawings and specifications, and use inspection tools

Responsibilities Include:

  • The use of cold saws and band saws
  • The use of metal cutting shears and rolls
  • The use of manual lathes and mills
  • The use of inspection tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • The use of sand blasters, tubing benders, pipe and flex cutters, various other cutting tools, air grinders, etc.
  • Cleaning of stainless steel and aluminum products
  • Buffing, polishing, scotch brite, of finished products and details
  • Deburring
  • Spinning
  • Operation of punch presses
  • Following proper safety procedures
  • Following manufacturing procedures

The Engineering Technician assists and supports the engineering function by performing a variety of duties related to supporting manufacturing, improving existing products, and aiding in the design and testing of new products.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar professional position, AS, BSME, BSMET, or other applicable technical degree
  • Quality orientation and a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Experience with the design and development of cryogenic equipment preferred
  • Experience with welding, brazing, and basic fabrication processes preferred
  • Experience with the programming and troubleshooting of basic industrial automation systems preferred

Qualifications:

  • Willingness and ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong Mathematical Reasoning Skills a must

The CNC Machinist manufactures or modifies high quality tight tolerance tooling and/or machined parts to meet Technifab or customer drawing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
  • Ability to set up various types of machinery
  • Ability to check product, using many types of inspection gauges
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long intervals
  • Thorough knowledge of manual lathes and mills
  • Strong knowledge of the Machinist Handbook
  • Ability to make and inspect threads
  • Ability to use many different types of machines, saws, and equipment normally associated with a machine and/or fabrication shop
  • Thorough understanding of material types (stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, etc.)
  • Must possess own hand tools
  • Ability to duplicate/copy existing product without drawing (reverse engineering)
  • Ability to work well with other departments (Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, etc.)
  • Safety conscious
  • CAD skills preferred, but not required

Responsibilities include:

  • Manufacturing or modifying tooling and/or machined parts in a manner that is faster and cheaper than can be achieved by using an outside source.
  • Keeping machines and work area clean and organized
  • Recommending tools/ supplies and new machinery
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by supervisor

The Cryogenic Engineer independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making design adaptations and modifications.

Qualifications:

  • BSME, BSMET, or other applicable technical degree (experience in a similar professional position will be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Experience with ASME Section VIII Div 1 and/or ASME B31.3 and in cryogenic manufacturing and/or design preferred
  • Thorough knowledge in computer operations including 3D modeling, drafting techniques and terminology required
  • CAD skills consisting of AutoCAD and solid modeling
  • Must be familiar with applicable materials and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail

The TIG Welder is accountable for all dimensions they create on any product. They ensure that all welds meet appropriate specifications, are cosmetically acceptable, and meet good craftsmanship standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately manufacture from blueprints (welds must meet dimensional specifications and be cosmetically acceptable)
  • The ability to follow welding requirements on certified welding jobs and follow procedures

Responsibilities Include:

  • Wrapping insulation on localized area of product
  • Sharpening of own tungsten
  • Following Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) on all certified welding jobs
  • Following welding requirements as specified in the Manufacturing Manual
  • Contacting supervision or Weld Coordinator when rework is required so the applicable rework documents can be completed
  • Following all applicable safety rules and regulations
  • Recommending and helping to implement method improvements and cost reductions.
  • All other duties as directed by supervisor
