Additional Cryogenic Information Resources
While we’re proud of the information available in our Cryogenic Resource Library, there’s a lot more information on the Internet that may help. Please note that Technifab Products, Inc. is not responsible for the content contained on these sites.
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
NIST provides an authoritative online reference containing thermophysical properties, including cryogenic fluids. Our engineers use this reference frequently when sizing systems and calculating performance.
Cryogenic Society of America, Inc.
The Cryogenic Society of America (CSA) is a non-profit technical society serving all those interested in any phase of cryogenics, the art and science of achieving shallow temperatures — almost absolute zero. Technifab is a proud corporate sustaining member of the Cryogenic Society of America.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
Technifab is authorized to use the U and UM stamp symbols of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the manufacture of pressure vessels and the R stamp of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors for the repair and/or alteration of pressure vessels.
British Standards Institute (BSI)
The British Standards Institute, similar to ASME in the US, publishes standards for industrial products. Many Technifab valves are tested to BS EN industrial valve standards.
