The Vacuum Jacketed Pipe Installer installs vacuum jacketed pipe systems and other products at customer locations.

Qualified applicants must be able to pass a DOT physical and be willing to travel on short notice.  Applicants must also be able to lift 50-70 lbs. on a regular basis, and work in elevated locations.

Qualifications:

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for ensuring the receiving and accurate accounting of all items coming into the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to routinely lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Unloading raw materials and parts from trucks by hand or by fork truck
  • Ensuring all parts delivered align physically and quantitatively with the vendors packing list and our purchase order
  • Inspecting parts to meet specifications / material trace codes / general visual inspection
  • Identifying and reporting non-conforming parts for engineering’s inspection
  • Receiving parts in the order specified by receiving reports
  • Ensuring no part leaves the receiving area without it being received into the system

The Welding Inspector performs non-destructive tests on welded components to identify defects, which may indicate areas of weakness that impact the strength of the weld joint.  The Welding Inspector also performs visual inspections to detect cracks and/or pits in the welds.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • ASNT NDT Level II experience as a welding inspector
  • Advanced knowledge of TIG welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Observant and analytical
  • Excellent communication skills

  • CWI is a plus, but not required

The Cryogenic Engineer independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making design adaptations and modifications.

Qualifications:

  • BSME, BSMET, or other applicable technical degree (experience in a similar professional position will be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Experience with ASME Section VIII Div 1 and/or ASME B31.3 and in cryogenic manufacturing and/or design preferred
  • Thorough knowledge in computer operations including 3D modeling, drafting techniques and terminology required

The Metal Fabricator is responsible for all dimensions they create on any product. Fabricators verify that the dimensions created meet the print/cutlist requirements before product moves to the next area.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with use of saws, grinders, metal shears, lathes, and mills
  • Demonstrated ability to read drawings and specifications, and use inspection tools

Responsibilities Include:

  • The use of cold saws and band saws
  • The use of metal cutting shears and rolls
  • The use of manual lathes and mills
  • The use of inspection tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • The use of sand blasters, tubing benders, pipe and flex cutters, various other cutting tools, air grinders, etc.

The TIG Welder Trainee is trained to be accountable for all dimensions they create on any product. They are trained to ensure that all welds meet appropriate specifications, are cosmetically acceptable, and meet good craftsmanship standards.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn how to accurately manufacture from blueprints
  • The ability to learn to follow welding requirements on certified welding jobs and follow procedures

Responsibilities Include (following training):

  • Wrapping insulation on localized area of product
  • Sharpening of own tungsten
  • Following Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) on all certified welding jobs
