Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare complete sets of drawings, which include multiple views, detail drawings, and assembly drawings.
  • Ability to include complex design features that require considerable drafting skill to visualize and portray.
  • Use of mathematical formulas to compute weights, center of gravity, load, capacities, dimensions, quantities of materials, etc.
  • Ability to work from sketches, models, and verbal information supplied by an engineer to determine appropriate view, details and supplementary information needed.
  • Ability to prepare complete sets of drawings of equipment to be manufactured.

Technifab Products, a cryogenic equipment manufacturer, is seeking Industrial Engineer candidates. Responsibilities include:

  • analyze operations and work flow; recommend improvements
  • determine cost reduction and methods improvements
  • analyze and plan production facility layout and workflow

A Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience is required.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Must possess CWI Certificate from the American Welding Society (AWS)
  • Ability to inspect welds to the ASME Codes, Section VIII, B31.3.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all machinery and equipment to ensure maximum operational time, repairs and maintenance to all buildings to ensure the safety of employees and extend the lifetime of the buildings and the upkeep of the grounds.

Duties to be performed will include, but are not limited to:

  •  Manage the PM schedule using the PM Coordinator software
  • Perform the routine maintenance on various equipment per a PM schedule
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery failures as they arise
  • Run electrical wiring, ranging from 120V to 480V 3-Phase, to machinery and equipment
  • Install and repair water lines
  • Assist outside vendors when repairs are outside our abilities
  • Manage and/or perform the maintenance of the buildings
  • Manage and/or perform the maintenance of the grounds by scheduling lawn mowing and snow removal and performing routine clean up

Job Requirements:

  • 2 years maintenance experience in an industrial environment
  • Ability to perform maintenance on industrial machinery such as welders, lathes, pumps, etc.
  • Ability to wire 120V and 480V 3-Phase
  • Ability to read a wiring diagram
  • Ability to braze copper tubing
  • Understanding of basic motors and motor controls
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair A/C and D/C drives

Experience:

  • Maintenance Technician: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

Whether you have Welding Experience or not, this is an opportunity to train to become a TIG Welder. Candidates considered for this position will be given a welding test to determine skill level/aptitude as well as a basic written test which includes basic math, measurements, spatial relations, mechanical reasoning, etc.

Technifab offers an excellent working environment for TIG Welders with the following skills:

  • Must be experienced with thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum
  • Must be able to accurately manufacture from blueprints
  • Welds must meet dimensional specifications and be cosmetically acceptable
  • The ability to follow welding requirements on certified welding jobs and follow procedures is a requirement for this position
Technifab Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of advanced cryogenic products, is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our company. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and willing to travel on short notice. Must be able to lift items over 50 lbs on a regular basis and work in elevated locations. BS Degree in technical field helpful but not required (experience will be considered ILO degree). Experience with the following will be evaluated:

  • Communication/Organization Skills
  • Microsoft Suite/AutoCAD
  • Attention to detail
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Job site management.
  • Must be able to make adjustments to program, sequence, and machine as required to ensure parts conform to specifications
  • Must be able to program to minimize scrap and maximize gross margin

Responsibility to manufacture or modify high quality tight tolerance tooling and or machined parts to meet Technifab or customer drawing requirements. The tooling and or machined parts should be manufactured or modified in a manner that is faster and cheaper than can be achieved by using an outside source.

Duties and Abilities:

  • Strong ability to read and understand blue prints and drawings.
  • Ability to set up various types of machinery.
  • Ability to check product using many types of inspection gauges.
  • Ability to lift items over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long intervals.
  • Must keep machines and work area clean and organized.
  • Thorough knowledge of manual lathes and mills.
  • Strong knowledge of the Machinist Hand Book.
  • Able to make and inspect threads.
  • Recommend tools/supplies and new machinery.
  • Ability to use many different types of machines, saws, and equipment normally associated with a machine and/or fabrication shop.
  • Thorough understanding of material types, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, etc.
  • Must possess own Machinist Tools.
  • Ability to duplicate/copy existing product without drawing (reverse engineering).
  • Ability to work with other departments (Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, etc.).
  • Safety conscious.
  • Cad Skills Preferred but not required.
  • As directed by Supervisor.
  • CNC operation ( loading and pulling parts as needed)
  • Receiving all inventories from outside vendors
  • Inspecting the parts to ensure they meet Exactifab requirements
  • Material handling
  • Assisting CNC Machinist/Programmer as needed
  • Shipping parts to customers
  • Storing raw materials into their correct locations
  • Manage raw materials locations
  • Other assigned duties
