The TIG Welder is accountable for all dimensions they create on any product. They ensure that all welds meet appropriate specifications, are cosmetically acceptable, and meet good craftsmanship standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience with thin-gauge stainless steel and aluminum
- Demonstrated ability to accurately manufacture from blueprints (welds must meet dimensional specifications and be cosmetically acceptable)
- The ability to follow welding requirements on certified welding jobs and follow procedures
Responsibilities Include:
- Wrapping insulation on a localized area of the product
- Sharpening of own tungsten
- Following Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) on all certified welding jobs
- Following welding requirements as specified in the Manufacturing Manual
- Contacting supervision or Weld Coordinator when rework is required so the applicable rework documents can be completed
- Following all applicable safety rules and regulations
- Recommending and helping to implement method improvements and cost reductions.

The Weld Coordinator facilitates all production in the cell, staging raw materials and parts for two to four welders to ensure smooth workflow in accordance with the production schedule. This individual works with the welders to maximize weld time while producing quality products. The Weld Coordinator also inspects products during and after the production process to ensure they comply with the provided drawings and meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
- A strong attention to detail
- The ability to follow written procedures
- The ability to conform to all established safety practices
- High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
- 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities include:
- Moving raw material and parts to and from welders, leak check technicians, braiders, and wrappers
- Having at least one job prepared for each welder to start when finished with the current job
- Working with welders to determine proper sequence of assembly / welding for each IO
- Identifying potential problems and errors with BOMs or Ios, and communicating with Zone Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure prompt resolution
- Contacting Zone Leader for rework instruction as necessary
- Feeding inners into outers
- Feeding outers into spiral wrap after leak check and stretch
- While a welder is occupied, preparing the next job to be welded
- Keeping welders properly stocked with all needed supplies
- Hand wrapping any areas required during final weld
- Inspecting all products per Finished Goods Inspection Procedure specified on drawing
- Maintaining cell dashboard
- Moving finished products to the proper area for the next operation
- Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Zone Leader

The Metal Fabricator is responsible for all dimensions they create on any product. Fabricators verify that the dimensions created meet the print/cut list requirements before product moves to the next area.
Qualifications:
- Experience with use of saws, grinders, metal shears, lathes, and mills
- Demonstrated ability to read drawings and specifications, and use inspection tools
Responsibilities Include:
- The use of cold saws and band saws
- The use of metal cutting shears and rolls
- The use of manual lathes and mills
- The use of inspection tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- The use of sand blasters, tubing benders, pipe and flex cutters, various other cutting tools, air grinders, etc.

The Manufacturing Engineer supports manufacturing projects by providing and maintaining methods, equipment, tooling, and standards to internal and external specifications. This position supports manufacturing projects by providing technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility, and will be responsible to setup, operate and trial new methods of manufacturing to reduce cycle times, improve lead times, and solve implementation problems.

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading innovation, engineering, and design initiatives within the fast-growing cryogenic market as part of Technifab’s strategy to grow in Energy Transition space. The candidate will manage a local engineering team to successfully support existing products within the cryogenic portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Line Managers, Sourcing, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to manage projects effectively while mitigating risks to timely and thorough completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying the appropriate project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to deliver results at optimal costs that deliver a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The position will also act as the lead and owns all aspects of a project such as specifications clarification, maximizing value proposition for the customers, establishing schedules, securing resources, and driving accountability to meaningful execution. Additionally, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for implementing continuous improvements on an ongoing basis. The position will report to the Site Leader, and be located in Brazil, IN.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence the organization and escalate issues when necessary.
- Good material science knowledge, e.g. in steels, castings, plastics, elastomers and proven expertise in the application of such knowledge.
- Knowledge of modern design and development software packages, e.g. 3D design packages, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- Knowledge and experience of lean methodologies including (but not limited to) Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), 5S, Problem Solving, and Visual Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and engineering tools.
- Cryogenic industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity of industry standards and specifications, such as ASME Section VIII and ASME B31.3 desired.

Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A. in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field.
